I Can't WAIT For McGregor's Comeback, Michael Chandler: I'm Sure The First Fight Was Me

JAKARTA - UFC lightweight fighter Michael Chandler is so excited to challenge Conor McGregor after successfully overthrowing Tony Ferguson at UFC 274. He even awaits McGregor's return to the octagon in the 170 pound weight category.

Quoted from Marca, Friday, Chandler will soon be at the biggest moment of his career. This is because his challenge to McGregor, who has the label of one of the largest UFC stars, has now been received by The Notorious after being sidelined by injury.

"I believe his first fight (McGregor) was me. It makes a lot of sense. I believe that I have made myself not only one of the most attractive people in the UFC but perhaps also the most attractive man in the lightweight division," Chandler said confidently as quoted by Marca, Friday, November 11.

The challenge against McGregor has been agreed upon. But, before that, Chandler will first face Dustin Poirier next Saturday.

However, the lightweight fighter did not seem to pay attention to the agenda in front of his eyes. Chandler was even more focused on the match against the Irish fighter during the UFC 281 press conference.

Chandler admits people continue to mark and mention his name regarding the big fight. He was even more excited even though he had to fight McGregor's big body in the 170 pound category.

There's a lot of talk about it. I can't go through the day without people marking and posting and talking about me against Conor when he comes back," Chandler said.

And I love the idea of fighting him in the most, worst, most dangerous time in 170 pounds. He looks big now..., he continued.

Currently Conor McGregor's body seems to be getting bigger. It happened since he started recovering from the broken leg he suffered against Dustin Poirier.

In the circulating photo, McGregor also looks more muscular than ever when he fought 155 pounds. The Notorious even joked by saying that he currently weighs more than 250 pounds. But with the existing posture, his body looks smaller than that.
