Newcomers Musicians Will NOW Be Empowered To Master The 'Area Behind The Stages' Via Evoria
JAKARTA Making works is easy. However, not all musicians master how to distribute their works. Now, through Evoria, musicians or newcomer bands, have the opportunity to better understand the backstage area.
A successful recording album is the final result of an important process, namely careful planning and a smart strategy. For this reason, the Evoria platform is here to attract newcomer musicians/bands and empower them with creative and business capabilities to succeed in the music industry.
In this platform initiated by M Bloc Entertainment with the support of M Bloc Xperience and Alive Indonesia, 10 newcomer musicians/bands will be selected who register and pass the curation to participate in the musicians' incubation program with national music industry professionals from various fields.
Some of the names of practitioners who confirmed that they would support Evoria as a mentor or workshop speaker include Endah N Rhesa, Eka Annash (vocalist, songwriter of The Brandals), Jimi Multhazam (vocalist, songwriter of The Up Chappes and Morfem), Lafa Pratomo (produser of Danilla and Iwan Fals), Wendi Putranto (Co-founder of M Bloc and Manager of Seringai), Ardy Siji (promotor of music), Dahlia Wijaya (Believe Country Director), to Satria Ramadhan (SRM).
The newcomer musicians/bands who passed this curation, in addition to being trained with various creative skill development materials and the music business through the bootcamp discussion, workshops, and showcases, will also be made live performance videos that can be used by one of their marketing tools in their careers.
"We curate musicians/band as well as provide a stage with acoustic support, room, governance, lighting, the best visuals for newcomer artists to appear live in front of national music industry practitioners such as record label executives, music journalists, artist managers, to well-known producers," Wendi Putranto, co-founder of M Bloc Group and manager of Seringai explained at a press conference in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, last Thursday.
Some of the workshop materials that will be taught include live from music, songwriting processes, music production, artist management and booking agency, digital music distribution, IP and copyrights, live music performance, tourism, to performing rights organizations.
"To become a successful musician, we must be willing to learn what is in the ecosystem, especially 'backstage area'," said Ardy Siji, CEO of M Bloc Entertainment as well as promoter of the Rock in Celebes music festival.
The registration process for newcomer artists to take part in Evoria is open from Thursday (10 November) to Sunday (11 December) at 23:59 WIB via the official Evoria.id website and via the M Bloc Xperience application.
"Hopefully after joining this platform, new musicians with long and brilliant works and careers will emerge," Endah Widiastuti of Endah N Rhesa expressed her support for the presence of the Evoria platform.
