Kemendikbudristek: A Great Nation Wants To Be A Hero For His Country
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) stated that a great nation is a nation that wants to become a hero for the country and nation.
This was conveyed by the Director of Cultural Protection of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Irini Dewi Wanti, at the opening of the Bestari Kelana exhibition at the National Awakening Museum in a series of Heroes' Day which was commemorated on November 10 in Jakarta, Thursday, November 10.
"There is a slogan that a great nation is a nation that respects the services of its heroes. Although it is still relevant, for now. I think a great nation is a nation that wants to be a hero for its country and nation," said Irini, quoted from Antara.
According to him, this must be inherent in the minds of the people, especially the younger generation who are the future generations of the nation.
He said the younger generation must be able to emulate the spirit and struggle of the previous heroes. If before independence the heroes struggle to rise from colonialism or colonialism, today's young generation must be able to become heroes by filling in independence.
"What flows in our souls, especially young people, is no longer a matter of rising from the problem of colonialism, from colonialism, but how to fill our independence," he said.
Talking about how to become a hero today, Irini said someone must have a great spirit and extraordinary spirit to fill independence in their own ways and abilities, including through works of art.
"Of course, in their own way, by expressing themselves individually. For example, for now with extraordinary art communities. So, messages from art will certainly be part of the development mission, and actually the spirit of art can be closer and more practical to be inspired by everyone while enjoying the artwork itself," he said.
