A total of 720 joint officers were alerted in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) on Thursday, November 10. They are ready to welcome the G20 Summit.

"For security in Labuan Bajo, there are 720 police personnel on alert to maintain security in the area ahead of the G20 Summit," said NTT Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Johanis Asadoma in Kupang, in Kupang, NTT, quoted from Antara, Thursday 10 November.

Johanis led the troop deployment and checked troop equipment, such as tactical vehicles and other vehicles, at the NTT Police Field.

The man who is usually called Johni said that until now the security conditions in the NTT region, especially in Labuan Bajo, which will be a tourist location or visit by a number of state guests, are in a conducive condition.

The former head of the International Relations Division at the National Police Headquarters added that the personnel who took part in the troop title were personnel who were prepared and alerted if necessary.

"If necessary, existing personnel can now be seconded to maintain security in Labuan Bajo and Bali, which is the main location of the G20 Summit," he added.

Overall, he explained that security on land and sea had been carried out. On land there are already personnel themselves and at sea patrol ships have also been prepared, he said.

Johanis appealed to all NTT Police personnel to work hard and ensure security and order in NTT during the G20 Summit or when several state guests visited Labuan Bajo.

"Everyone has to work hard. If everything goes safely, of course this is for the good of all of us as well," said Johanis Asadoma.

Regarding the tactical vehicles prepared in Kupang City, currently in Labuan Bajo there are several vehicles. If it is necessary, the tactical vehicle can be shifted to Labuan Bajo.
