Prabowo Denies Allowing Riza Patria To DKI Gubernatorial Election, Daily Chair Of Gerindra DPP: We Haven't Talked About Regional Election
JAKARTA - The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, denied reports that General Chair Prabowo Subianto had given his blessing to the former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria to run in the 2024 DKI gubernatorial election (Pilgub).
Dasco emphasized that his party was focusing on preparing for the 2024 Legislative and Presidential Elections, so he had not yet discussed the Pilkada.
"The 2024 gubernatorial election is still a long way off, and at this time the party is concentrating on the legislative and presidential elections. Therefore, we have not talked about the regional elections," Dasco told VOI, Thursday, November 10, morning.
In fact, Dasco admitted that he did not know where the source who said Prabowo gave his blessing to Riza to run as Cagub DKI 2024.
"I don't know the source who said that there was approval for the governor election in Gerindra," said the Deputy Speaker of the DPR.

Syarif admitted that Prabowo is currently looking for the right candidate for deputy governor to accompany Riza in the 2024 DKI gubernatorial election.
