Dor! The Escape Of The Perpetrators Of The Shooting Of Residents In OKI South Sumatra Ends In West Karawang
The police arrested the perpetrator of the shooting of a resident whose body was buried using heavy equipment in Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency, South Sumatra (Sumsel).
Head of Sub-Directorate 3 Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Sumsel Kompol Agus Prihadinika said the suspect was Sutrisno alias Ten (39), a resident of Sungai Wins Village, OKI Regency.
The suspect was arrested by Unit 4 Sub-Directorate III of the South Sumatra Police in Padepokan, Cikondok Village, West Karawang Regency, West Java, Sunday night, November 6.
"The police were forced to paralyze his right leg with a gunshot because he tried to escape," he said in Palembang, South Sumatra, quoted from Antara, Monday, November 7.
According to him, the operation to arrest the suspect was carried out after the police received information on the discovery of the victim's body, Romli (44), a resident of Karangsia Village, Wins River, OKI.
The body of the private employee was found buried in a mud puddle in Camp District, Sungai Wins Village, OKI Regency, Wednesday, November 2, after several days of being reported missing by the family.
"From that discovery, we conducted a search, it was found that the suspect fled to Karawang, he is currently undergoing examination at the headquarters (South Sumatra Police, ed)," he said.
To investigators, the suspect admitted that he was desperate to kill the victim allegedly out of revenge.
The murder incident began when the suspect Sutrisno was asked by the victim to collect diesel fuel in the Ogan Ilir Regency area, Friday, November 28 afternoon.
Then, the suspect Sutrisno headed to the promised location along the river using a ketek boat along with three of his colleagues, with the initials A, I and J.
Agus said that on the way the suspect along with A, I and J had planned the murder by carrying firearms, wooden spears and a machete stored on a ketek boat.
Arriving at the Sutrisno location, he immediately shot the victim three times, followed by I and A who reshuffled and slashed the machete into the victim's waist and neck to death, he said again, the victim's body was buried using heavy equipment until the suspect Sutrisno fled to Karawang.
Police investigators have named I, A and J as suspects who are currently still on the wanted list (DPO).
For their actions, the suspects are threatened with being charged with Article 340 concerning Premeditated Murder and or Article 1 paragraph (1) Number 12 of 1951.
