Considered Contributing To Efforts For Peace, Jokowi Achieves Awards From ADFP
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) won an international peace award from the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace (ADFP). He is considered to have contributed significantly to making world peace.This was conveyed by Minister of State Secretary Pratikno. He said, this award is an extraordinary thing for President Jokowi and the Indonesian people in general."For us, for President Jokowi as well as for all Indonesian people, this is an extraordinary, extraordinary honor because President Joko Widodo has been trusted as a leader who spreads peaceful messages and culture to the world," Pratikno said in Jakarta, Monday, November 7.This award was given by the Secretary General of ADPF Al-Mahfouz bin Syaikh Abdullah bin Bayya during a visit to the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta today, Monday, November 7.Pratikno said this award was very prestigious because it used the name of the grandson of Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely Imam Hasan bin Ali. Thus, the awarding of this award is expected to be a reference for all parties, including President Jokowi, to face a crisis in the world."That the world is currently facing various kinds of crises, there are wars, there is a food crisis, there is an energy crisis, not only people who cannot afford it, even their availability is rare," he said."Therefore, if we can solve it, this means we can contribute to the world," continued Pratikno.In addition, he hopes that this award will make the cooperation between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates more closely established. "As well as encouraging all of us to make the G20 a success for world peace and prosperity," concluded Pratikno.
