Cases Of Profiteering By Political Parties In Bali Masif, Victims Starting From Civil Servants To The National Police

DENPASAR - The case of profiteering of people's names by political parties in Bali is so massive. The tire comes from a number of circles.

In fact, there are victims who are civil servants, TNI, and also Polri. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the General Election Commission of Bali Province I Dewa Gede Lidartawan.

"That (name profiteering) is massive in Bali, it is also hundreds. There are also hundreds of civil servants, TNI, Polri," said Gede Lidartawan, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, November 5, 2022.

"We have reported it to us and it has been processed. I have massively conveyed it to the regency and city through its personnel agency," he continued at the Bali Provincial KPU Office, Denpasar, Saturday.

Furthermore, the Bali Provincial Personnel Agency will convey to its employees in an apple every Monday that all civil servants in Bali must check the election info.

"Don't let his name enter the Political Party Information System (Sipol) because in some of yesterday's experience, his promotion was postponed because he was admitted to the Sipol," said Gede Lidartawan.

In addition, many people's names were also found who were not civil servants. The follow-up is also a report to Sipol.

"Meetings are also administrative verification, many are registered because we use infopemilu, the mirroring has started a lot," he said.

Regarding people who do not want to sign a statement that they are not members or administrators of political parties, Gede Lidartawan said there is a possibility of intimidation from related political parties.

"People who don't want to support it don't want to sign. Usually, like that, there may be intimidation," said Gede Lidartawan.

Maybe he didn't support it, but for fear of being intimidated, he didn't want to sign a statement. "There is no statement in Bali. It's there, but it's small," he continued.
