West Aceh Regency Government Cares For Sideni, Applications To Prevent Security Disruption
JAKARTA - The West Aceh Regency Government launched an Early Detection Strategy (Sideni) application to prevent disturbances in public order, prominent problems, and potential conflicts in this area.
"Hopefully, through the application, this application can create conducive conditions in West Aceh Regency so that it can be even better, at the same time create a sense of security, peace, and peace in the community," said West Aceh Regional Secretary Marhaban in Meulaboh, Saturday, November 5, quoted by Antara.
He said the application was born on the initiation of the National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) of West Aceh Regency.
This application is a new breakthrough in early detecting various prominent problems and potential conflicts in the region quickly, accurately, and integrated.
To optimize the application implementation, Marhaban asked the West Aceh Kesbangpol Agency to intensively socialize how to use this application continuously to all relevant stakeholders, both vertical agencies and sub-district heads.
Through coordination and strong synergy from all parties at the sub-district and vertical agencies, such as the Korem, Kodim, Polres, prosecutors, immigration, customs, BIN, and Bais, it will be able to minimize and anticipate various potential conflicts that can disrupt and hinder the development process in West Aceh Regency.
Marhaban hopes that the presence of the Sideni application can be a motivation to increase local government early vigilance through early detection in order to create a safe society, as well as become a medium for mapping social vulnerabilities and potential conflicts.
In addition, he explained, the increase in cooperation between local governments and intelligence elements in West Aceh is expected to be an important step in capturing, accommodating, and coordinating public information about potential threats, challenges, obstacles, and disturbances in West Aceh.
Head of the West Aceh Kesbangpol Agency Abdurrani explained that the Sideni application aims to detect prominent problems early and potential conflicts in all sub-districts and other vertical agencies by collecting data on reports of incidents and cases related to problems in West Aceh Regency.
"The data and information that will be collected later include ideology, politics, economy, social, culture, security, peace, and order throughout West Aceh quickly, accurately, and digitally integrated," he said.
He said all information that had been collected in the Sideni application, both from sub-districts and other vertical agencies, would later be verified by the West Aceh Kesbangpol Agency to be forwarded to the West Aceh Regent in the form of a written report.
Abdurani hopes that the presence of this application can make it easier for all stakeholders to convey all information on potential conflicts and prominent problems in society quickly and accurately.
Thus, he said, the government could immediately find the right solution to all potential threats, challenges, obstacles, and disturbances in the regions to create a conducive situation in West Aceh Regency.
