After The UAE, The Head Of Cairo Who Was Visited By Vice President Ma'ruf Amin
JAKARTA - Vice President Maruf Amin continued his work visit to Cairo on Friday, after visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for four days.
The vice president and his wife and entourage arrived in the Egyptian capital on Friday at 6:57 p.m. local time, after traveling for about four hours from Al-Maktoum Dubai International Airport, UAE, according to a press release received in Jakarta, Saturday, November 5 in the morning.
The arrival of Vice President Ma'ruf was welcomed by the Minister of Egyptian Waqf Affairs Mohamed Mokhtar Gomama, the Indonesian Ambassador to Egypt Lutfi Rauf, and the Indonesian Defense Attach in Cairo Colonel Aria Sanggita Saleh.
During a working visit to Cairo, the vice president will carry out a number of agendas, one of which is meeting students and Indonesian diaspora at the Wisma Ambassador of the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo, Saturday.
At the meeting, Vice President Ma'ruf will witness the handover of the "Cendekia" scholarship from the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) to representatives of Indonesian students who are carrying out studies in Egypt.
On Sunday (6/11), he is scheduled to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and will leave for Sharm El Sheikh to attend the COP-27 Climate Change Summit.
