Juventus Throws Into The Europa League, Allegri Admittedly Between Happy And Angry

Juventus were thrown into the Europa League following a 1-2 defeat to PSG in the last match of Group H of the 2022/2023 Champions League.

In the match which took place at the Allianz Stadium, Turin, Thursday, November 3 in the morning WIB, coach Massimiliano Allegri claimed the Old Lady had performed a good game.

However, the final result was not what was expected. That's what makes Allegri happy and angry at the same time.

"There are parts of us that have to be satisfied and happy to reach where the Europa League is, but other parts have to be angry, because we can't just let this elimination slide," Allegri said.

In the match against PSG, Juventus was in a bad situation due to the absence of 12 players due to injuries and was suspended.

But on the other hand, the final group stage match in the Champions League was also an emotional moment for Federico Chiesa's return. The player finally returned to action after being absent for 10 months due to an ACL injury.

Allegri revealed that Chiesa had a good training session before the match. The coach had doubts about Chiesa's mentality after months of absence.

However, he saw Chiesa looking calm and focused so he dared to lower her. Chiesa looked excited and Allegri just needed to help her get back to her best performance gradually before the World Cup break.

After being thrown into the Europa League, Allegri was reluctant by his team to be disappointed to drag on. He asked the players to focus on the game in sight to face the Italian derby against Inter Milan in Serie A.

Allegri admits that he is ready to fight the Nerazzurri and is pleased with the good news from the development of several injured players.

"We had various problems with injuries, there were tough matches on Sunday against which I believe are the best teams in Italy. We will have Bremer, Vlahovic, and Di Maria back for that game," he said.
