19 Days Towards The 2022 World Cup: Japan's National Team Releases Player's Name, Here's A List
JAKARTA - The Japanese national team has officially released the squad they will bring to the Qatar 2022 World Cup. A number of senior players are still the mainstay.
Maya Yoshida, Yuto Nagatomo and goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima remain summoned. The three are expected to transmit their experiences to the young Blue Samurai players.
Several young players are indeed included in the list chosen by the Japanese coach, Hajime Moriyasu.
One of them is Takefusa Kubo who is now working in La Liga Spain with Real Sociedad. In addition, there is also a winger for English Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion, Mitomase.
Most of the players called Moriyasu are taking part in the Blue Continent. Call it the Frankfurt Daichi Kamada Eintracht striker and US player Monaco Takumi Minamino.
It was recorded that only six domestic players were brought to Qatar.
Blue Samurai entered the hell group with Germany, Spain and Costa Rica in Group E. Japan started an adventure in the Qatari World Cup against Germany on November 23 before facing Costa Rica on November 27 and Spain on December 1.
