Metro Police Chief Asks Polwan To Be CAREful Playing Social Media And Keep Performance

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran asked all female police officers (polwan) in the ranks of Polda Metro Jaya to be wise in using social media so as not to cause negative impacts to the Polri institution.

"I remind all of you, be careful in social media. Because nila is a dot, it can damage milk. One mistake made by a handful of individuals can be a framing of an institution," Fadil said quoting Antara, Sunday, October 30.

Fadil said that all information spread very quickly through social media and things that were not wise that entered social media would lead to a negative stigma that would be attached to the institution.

"The stigma was raised because technological advances contributed to the rapid spread of negative news throughout the world," he said.

The Regional Police Chief hopes that in the future policewomen can look in accordance with applicable regulations, routinely carry out social activities in the community, and be wise in using social media.

He also invited all members of the Polwan Metro Jaya to reclaim public sympathy and trust in the Police.

"Let's both reclaim the sympathy and public trust in our beloved Polri institution, because policewomen are a symbol of humanism in the Polri body," he said.

On that occasion Fadil also again conveyed President Joko Widodo's message to all levels of the National Police, including lifestyle issues, complaints of public services to the Police, TNI-Polri solidarity must be maintained.

Then the common vision and mission, measured and objective law enforcement, good public communication, and cooperation with elements of society.
