Not Only Guarding The Border Patok Patrol, The TNI At The RI-Malaysia Border Helps Schools Of Lack Of Learning Personnel
Kapuas Hulu - Head of the Technical Assistance Team for the Implementation of Territorial Development from Pusterad Lt. Col. Inf. Andi Tirtawassyah said the task of securing border areas was not only for border patrols.
He emphasized that soldiers must also carry out territorial coaching, one of which is to become educators in schools that lack teaching staff.
"The territorial development by soldiers at the border is quite good, of course this will continue to be carried out and further improved," he said in Badau Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan (Kalbar), Thursday, October 27.
In addition, soldiers at state borders also help various other activities such as food security and instill national insights in the community.
On Wednesday, October 26, Pusterad visited Badau District to see firsthand the territorial development efforts by the RI-Malaysia Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas) Yonarmed 19/105 Trk Bogani.
On this occasion, the team reviewed SD Negeri 1 Badau to see the teaching and learning process, where the personnel of the Pamtas Yonarmed 19/105 Trk Bogani Task Force became PKN tutors and also Indonesian History lessons.
"We saw that the children at school were very enthusiastic because they could be taught by TNI personnel," said Andi.
He advised the soldiers on duty at the border to continue to provide the best for the community in an effort to instill a sense of unity and integrity in defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Do community development well so that the TNI will be more loved by the people," he said.
