JAKARTA The financial services sector business actors initiated the 2022 Financial Expo (FinExpo) exhibition as a form of active contribution in increasing financial literacy and inclusion for the Indonesian people.
Head of FinExpo 2022 Wani Sabu said this annual agenda is part of the support for the Financial Inclusion Month (BIK) which remains the permanent manager of the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
"We hope that the public can increase understanding of financial products and services through various financial literacy and inclusion programs," he said in a press release today, Wednesday, October 26.
According to Wani, various financial accesses have been available that are useful in meeting the needs of the community and businesses.
"Through this event, people can get various promos for incentive products such as bonuses, cashbacks, rewards and others as well as various other offers related to financial products or services," he said.
On the same occasion, OJK Director of Financial Inclusion Development Edwin Nurhadi stated that financial inclusion is a basic right of the community that must be fulfilled and is our shared responsibility.
"Through the financial inclusion Month as a national agenda every year, it is hoped that it can be a momentum to strengthen the commitment and support of all stakeholders in the context of fulfilling and increasing financial access for all Indonesian people," he stressed.
In addition to full OJK support, the implementation of FinExpo 2022 is also supported by Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS). The exhibition itself took place at Central Park Mall, Jakarta for five days, from 26 to 30 October 2022.
