No Violations, Volunteers For Strange Values Ganjar Pranowo Given PDIP Sanctions
JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo was given a verbal warning by the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP as a result of the Central Java (Central Java) Governor's statement regarding his readiness to become a presidential candidate in 2024. Ganjar Pranowo (GP) Mania's volunteers considered it strange for the sanctions imposed on Ganjar even though it was normative. Because, no violations were violated by Ganjar for his statement.
"Actually, it is also strange that people who are sanctioned must have a violation. So the inconsistency with his statement that he was sanctioned, but no violations were found," said GP Mania Chairman Immanuel Ebenezer alias Noel in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 25. "It's funny, it's also people who don't have violations but are sanctioned," he continued.
Even though it was considered strange, Noel said that the verbal sanctions given were still considered reasonable. "But that's not what sanctions are, it's a minimum sanction, we think it's still in a reasonable stage. Because people's time is because of multiple interpretations of the sentence," he said.
Noel considers that the sanctions given by PDIP are a balancer because the Council of Colonels who support Puan Maharani as a presidential candidate is also given sanctions. According to him, PDIP may want to be fair even though in principle no violations have been committed.
"This is to balance the Council of Colonels, that's why the principle of justice conveyed by the Secretary General of PDIP is to be fair, when the Council of Colonels is given a mass sanction, Mas Ganjar does not. Even though there is no principle of violation," said Noel.
However, Noel hopes that Ganjar will not receive internal resistance from the PDIP. He believes that Ganjar will maintain the dignity of the PDIP and the General Chair, Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"Let there be consolidation and let there be something called conduciveness. Let Mas Ganjar maintain the dignity of the party and the dignity of the general chairman," said Noel.
Noel ensured that Ganjar volunteers would continue to provide their support for the Central Java governor. Noel also hopes that the PDIP General Chairperson will be rational in making decisions for the 2024 General Election.
"We will never want to stop (supporting Ganjar) because there are sanctions from the internal PDIP, it is not affected by our enthusiasm to support Mas Ganjar. If we as supporters of Ganjar remain upright that our hope remains that Mrs. Mega as the holder of the mandate must be rational to make political choices for 2024," said Noel.
Previously, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo received a verbal warning issued by the PDIP DPP regarding his statement that he was ready to run as a presidential candidate in 2024. This is because the party has not yet determined a name regarding the presidential election.
Ganjar was directly summoned by the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP for Honorary Sector Komarudin Watubun and the Secretary General of the PDIP DPP Hasto Kristiyanto to clarify his statement.
"Thank you from the Secretary General, the Honorary Council, who previously gave a lot of explanations, clarity on my statement, and of course as a cadre I obey, and was given verbal sanctions, of course this is part of public communication that I feel I have to improve," said Ganjar during a press conference at the PDIP DPP Office, Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, October 24, afternoon.
"So when there was a statement between situations like this that I conveyed earlier, it became a fairly crowded public discourse, we received a warning. As a cadre I received it. This is part of the discipline that was also conveyed by Mr. Hasto," he added.
Ganjar said that whoever will be promoted by the party in the 2024 presidential election, he is ready to comply with any party decisions, in this case, the prerogative of the PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"Mr. Secretary General has spoken, look at my clothes, all decisions related to the presidential election are the decision of the General Chairman. So, everyone will definitely follow. And I am the person who agrees," said Ganjar.
