Playing Ludo Use Money, Four Men At The Kalijaga Lebak Terminal Were Arrested By The Police

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Rangkasbitung Police has secured four teenage boys who are busy playing ludo online using money as a bet, gambling. The perpetrators' initials KA (35), MR (25), IA (39), MA (40) were arrested at Kalijaga Terminal Pasar Rangkasbitung, Lebak Regency, Monday, October 24.

Rangkasbitung Police Chief AKP Pipih Iwan explained, initially police officers who carried out patrols found the perpetrators playing online ludo. However, when examined more deeply, the perpetrators used money to bet. Online ludo applications as a means of gambling for the four perpetrators.

"Initially, officers found residents gambling using cellphones which were opening the Ludo game application. Knowing this, the officers immediately secured the perpetrators along with evidence in the form of Rp167,000 in cash and 1 cellphone," said Pipih in a written statement, Monday, October 24.

After being proven to be playing gambling, the officers took the perpetrators along with evidence to the Rangkasbitung Police.

"The perpetrators are subject to Article 303 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 10 years," he concluded.
