Divine Usung Sosial Theme In Karya Tunggal Baru Black Heart
JAKARTA - Jakarta-based thrash metal gang, Divine has ejected a single work titled Black Heart. This song is the opening gate to their new album which will be released in the near future.
According to an official statement received by the editorial desk, Black Heart tells the story of what really happened in real life.
"Human routines then become biased. Tire and fed up because they have to compromise all the time with the existing conditions, make them normal and end up being polluted little by little," the band said.
This kind of social theme has been a directive in the lyric session since the beginning of Divine was formed. As is known, this band was formed in 2001 by one of the important figures in the metal scene in the country, the late Ucokk Tampubolon.
At the beginning of its emergence, the Divine carried a gyrove metal genre. However, on its way, apart from experiencing several times of disassembly of personnel, the musicality side of this band also experienced significant changes.
In this new era, Divine consists of Heyckel (guitar), Wisnu (guitar), Andi Jaka (vocals), Inno (drums), and Amink (bass).
The charge of their musical composition is also no longer just cargoing onGive metal or thrash metal, but also experimenting with many other elements such as heavy metal, progressive, jazz, and others.
Until now, Divine has released one EP (mini album) and three full albums: Relevation (2005), Anger Thy Given (2008), Long Live thrash Metal (2015), and Digital Infection (2019).
Black Heart's single work is available on various digital music platforms. And with the launch of this song, Divine proved that they were still playing loud.
