Central Sulawesi-Gorontalo Liaison Bridge Disastered By Floods, Pertamina Make Sure The Stock Of Fuel Is Safe
PALU - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga ensured that the distribution of fuel oil (BBM) and LPG in Buol Regency was not disrupted after the bridge connecting Central Sulawesi and Gorontalo Provinces was broken when it was hit by floods on Wednesday."We have coordinated with gas stations and official distribution agencies and LPG agents that stock conditions are guaranteed," explained Acting Communications, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Sulawesi, Taufiq Kurniawan when contacted from Palu, Antara, Thursday, October 20.Before the incident occurred, the condition of gas stations and other distribution agencies in Buol had just received a full supply of fuel in the afternoon and evening. The availability of Pertalite stock at two gas stations affected reached 58.6 kiloliters, with an average daily consumption of 28 kiloliters per day. Meanwhile, Bio Solar stocks are available at 25.2 kiloliters with a daily consumption of 9.14 kiloliters. However, the distribution of subsidized and non-subsidized LPGs received supplies from the Elpiji Bulk Filling Station (SPBE) of Gorontalo Province, so that there were no problems."The distribution of LPG from SPPBE is not disrupted, where the supply of LPG points for Buol comes from SPPBE Gorontalo. The stock in SPPBE Gorontalo today is 983 metric tons with a daily average consumption of 45.2 metric tons. The stock is quite safe because there are still a lot of stock in agents and bases," said Taufiq. In order to anticipate the bad situation, Pertamina has taken alternative steps by preparing a supply of 40 kiloliters of Pertalite and 16 kiloliters of Bio Solar TBBM Gorontalo fuel as a form of concern for consumers.Until now, Pertamina also continues to coordinate with the Regional Government (Pemda) and local police officers to accelerate repair of bridges, emergency bridges and security of distribution through alternative routes as well as security at gas stations and LPG agents."We hope that people will continue to buy Pertamina products at gas stations and bases. We also hope that the community will monitor the distribution process of fuel and LPG, if there are individuals taking advantage of this situation for personal gain, immediately report to the police or to Pertamina via Cell Center 135," said Taufiq.
