JAKARTA - A big fight is being prepared. Floyd Mayweather is likely to meet Manny Pacquiao again.
Reportedly, Mayweather and Pacquiao will have a rematch in Las Vegas next year. Mayweather's unbeaten record will be at stake.
This fight can be a blockbuster with a selling value of 500 million pounds (around Rp. 8.6 trillion). Global Titans companies say they are leading the talks between the two camps.
Global Titans is the company promoting Mayweather's next fight in Dubai.
Global Titans CEO Uday Singh told SunSport, "We've been working on Floyd and Manny Pacquaio."
Singh said the announcement of the fight could be made in early December. Most likely, both will box next year
"Rematch, not exhibitions," Singh said.
He said he had met Mayweather in Las Vegas. Singh claims Mayweather's thoughts have changed.
Singh also revealed that he had had his first meeting with Manny Pacquiao.
"Because at first he wasn't interested either," Singh said. "Then we went out and spoke to Manny Pacquiao's team and they said, 'Yeah, it's okay. Manny Pacquiao is ready.' Now we're negotiating numbers and all that."
"This will be held in Las Vegas, either in the summer of 2023 or fall, around September or October. We see summer, around July or August. But first of all, he will fight us in Saudi Arabia in February or Match," he continued.
The last time the two faced each other was in 2015. At that time, Mayweather won points in a 12-round fight.
