Heru Budi Opens The Complaints Table Of The Ahok Era, Residents Directly Complaints On Extortion Problems To Floods
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta City Hall has again opened a complaint desk service for Jakarta residents starting today. This is the decision of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, when he started serving yesterday.
In the past, this desk as a citizen complaint service was implemented since the era of Joko Widodo, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), and Djarot Saiful Hidayat when he was Governor of DKI Jakarta.
The complaint desk is open from 08.00 WIB to 09.30 WIB. A total of seven complaints were reported, ranging from extortion issues to floods.
Martina Gunawan, a resident of Bambu Apus, East Jakarta, complained about the problem of poor bureaucracy at the DKI City Parks and Forest Service (Distamhut). The Martina family wants to propose land acquisition on the green line.
"We proposed this land to be acquired by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, starting from 2016. After seeing the zoning, our land is green. So we were given a position to proceed to the Forestry Service at that time," Martina said when met at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, October 18.
After visiting Distamhut, it turned out that Martina was asked to pay. The technical management unit (UPT), which takes care of land acquisition, also processes land acquisition by being long-winded.
"We feel that it is done unprofessionally, impartially, long-winded, and there is a request for money by UPT personnel at the Park Service. The value is varied from Rp150 million to 2.5 percent (of land value). But I don't want to pay a penny," explained Martina.
"Frankly, as ordinary residents, we are confused," he continued.
Another resident, Retno, complained about the flooding that occurred in the area where she lived in Petogogan, South Jakarta. Retno's house was flooded in January 2020. In fact, for the last 7 years, his residence has never been hit by floods.
"We haven't flooded for seven years, only January 1, 2020. So that's why I thought, how come, for 7 years we are flood-free. At least, with this (proportion table), we get attention," said Retno.
Yesterday, Heru Budi Hartono said he would again open a complaint desk on the pavilion terrace of the DKI Jakarta City Hall, right in front of his office. The complaint desk will be opened from 08.00 to 09.00 WIB every Monday to Thursday.
When Anies Baswedan served as Governor of DKI, the complaint desk was removed on the grounds that residents could complain at the kelurahan office to the sub-district.
"God willing, it will (open the complaint desk again), tomorrow. From 8 to 9 hours only," said Heru at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, October 17.
Heru explained that later this citizen complaint desk service would be guarded by ASN representatives of the mayor from all regions. All complaints submitted by residents, continued Heru, will be followed up by each regional work unit (SKPD) at the city level.
"I ask representatives from the mayor, assistants, to take turns too, it is regulated who is on picket from 8 to 9 hours only," said Heru.
"After that, bring what is discussed by the community here, the complaints, and later will be brought to their respective regions and discussed," he continued.
