Residents Find A Body Wrapped In Plastic And Ligated By Lakban In Kalimalang, Allegedly A Murder Victim

JAKARTA - A body suspected of being a murder victim was found wrapped in plastic and tied with duct tape lying on Jalan Raya Kalimalang, Becak Kayu, RT 01/14, Jatibening Village, Pondok Gede District, Bekasi City, Monday night, October 17.

The bodies were found by two residents at around 21.30 WIB. According to Nur, one of the residents who found the victim, the discovery was made at around 21.30 WIB.

"When changing truck tires next to the crime scene, there was a large plastic bag package. After checking, human legs were seen under the plastic bag," he said in a statement to the officer.

The findings were finally reported to the local RT for follow-up. Furthermore, after being identified, the victim's body was taken to the Police Hospital for further investigation.

Head of Public Relations of the Bekasi Metro Police, Kompol Erna Ruswing Andari, confirmed the discovery of the corpse in the large plastic. Even so, the Bekasi City Metro Police have not been able to determine the motive for the death of the corpse.

"The victim has been taken to the Police Hospital for a post-mortem. We'll inform you later," he said when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, October 18.
