MMA ONE Championship, Bantam Class Belt Competition: John Lineker Challenged Fabricio Andrade In Kuala Lumpur, Saturday 22 October

JAKARTA - World champion at the MMA ONE Championship division of bantamweight, John Lineker and challenger Fabricio Andrade boasted that they wanted to bring each other down in the match with the title ONE Fight Night 3 at Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Saturday (22/10).

Ahead of this prestigious match, even the two fighters continued to hold tongue plates and throw jokes. They both showed their superiority while descending in this free-fight event.

John Lineker, known as the Hands of Stone', has collected 35 wins with 17 of them being won through KO/TKO. This achievement proves that his stroke can easily make the opponent faint. Bibiano Fernandes was the last victim on ONE.

My heavy hand, my iron punch, that's what makes it different. You have seen what happens when I throw a punch. My shot is not random. That's the difference," Lineker said as quoted by ONE Championship on Sunday.

"Like football, we only need one goal to win the game, just like me who only need one shot to win. I'm ready to fight him (Fabricio Andrade). I've had more than 50 fights and I've never lost a knockout once," concluded Lineker.

On the other hand, even though he doesn't have a Lineker-like record in MMA, Andrade has long been poor across Muay Thai. He has won 40 wins with just three defeats. While in MMA, he has won eight wins with two defeats.

The record was sharpened by the fact that Andrade had collected seven consecutive wins. The score gave him high confidence to challenge Lineker. The second-ranked fighter in the ONE Championship bantamweight division mocked him as a vegetable chicken.

I am a person who has challenged him for a long time. He has always avoided me. 100 percent I will perform outstanding performance. There will be KO and we will see a new champion," said Andrade.

She feels like I'm the same as any other fighter she's ever fought. She doesn't know who's in front of her. She can blindly throw punches, but in the end I will beat her KO," said Andrade.

Even though he seemed to have a big mouth, Andrade's words were not completely wrong. The last three matches ended in a knockout victory in the first round. Within minutes, he was able to make his opponent fall, and that was also what he promised against Lineker.

"We know Bibiano is not a striker, but he can even bring down Lineker in their game. Imagine what I could do to Lineker. Bibiano doesn't have half of the striking ability I have," concluded Andrade.
