Inspector General Teddy Minahasa previously served as West Sumatra Police Chief. He was later appointed as East Java Police Chief replacing Inspector General Nico Afinta who was transferred as Expert Staff to the National Police Chief for Social Culture.

Based on the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHPKN) which he reported in March 2022, the former West Sumatra Police Chief has a wealth of Rp29,974,417,203. Teddy did not record ownership of the debt so that his property was intact.

In the report, Teddy reported ownership of 53 plots of land and land and buildings with a value of Rp. 25,913,200,000. This asset is located in Pandeglang Regency, West Java; Pasuruan Regency, East Java; Pesawaran Regency; and Malang City, East Java.
