Sandiaga Uno gave tips to young people to deal with this recession. According to Sandiaga Uno, there are at least three keys that can be a solution if Indonesia has a recession in 2023.
Quoted from Sandiuno TV's YouTube channel, Sandiaga Uno explained that with more than 25 years of experience in the world of investment, the turmoil from the capital market was triggered by various factors, one of which triggered it was the uncertainty that is now happening.
"What we are facing now is that inflation will continue next year with the potential for recession, now this fluctuation will continue to increase in frequency," Sandiaga said, as seen, Friday, October 14.
Sandiaga also said how we respond to it, young people because they have a very long time must also think long-term.
"Because the best investment is the investment that is made when it is full of uncertainty, the key is that we see how companies that have long-term fundamentals managed professionally have trustworthy leaders," he added.
Sandiaga Uno explained that to deal with the recession, there are three keys to the conclusion above, namely:
1. Have a business that has a strong foundation.
2. Have a trustworthy leader.
3. Businesses that are managed professionally with these companies we can wait maybe the next 5-10 years, when we invest now we will show extraordinary results in the future.
"Indeed, investment in stocks is not for speculative investment but positive investment, contributive in the long term," he continued.
The current condition is with the prediction from economists that Indonesia could be affected by the 2023 recession, so young people should invest, especially stocks, and must understand their business.
