PT KAI Has Promised To Complete The Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Rail Project On Time
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) as the leader of the Indonesian BUMN Sinergi Pilar consortium stated that it is ready to complete the assignment for the construction of the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail (KCJB) project as best as possible.KAI President Director Didiek Hartantyo said KAI together with KCIC and all stakeholders would do their best in the construction of KCJB which is one of the National Strategic Projects whose construction progress currently reaches 88.8 percent."The presence of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train is not only a new transportation alternative that connects the two regions, but also presents and improves the economy in the region", said Didiek in his statement, quoted from Antara, Friday, October 14.Didiek emphasized that in every process KAI will always prioritize good corporate governance (GCG). The goal is to realize accountability for the construction of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project and can be accounted for.KAI will also always be transparent towards all aspects in the construction of the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train in accordance with applicable regulations.In terms of information disclosure, KAI has proven to be a public body that is professional and open in providing information services to information applicants. This is evidenced by the award of the Informative Public Agency to KAI in 2020 and 2021 by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.Meanwhile, in terms of project completion, KAI will continue to coordinate with the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail Committee so that operations can be carried out on time."“KAI is committed to carrying out and completing this assignment as well as possible and still prioritizing safety," said Didiek.For the readiness of facilities, currently three series have arrived at Depo Tegalluar, namely two series of Electric Multiple Units and a series of Comprehensive Inspection Trains, bringing the total to 12 series targeted to arrive in Indonesia in March 2023.As for infrastructure readiness, the railroad installation from Bandung to Jakarta is currently being carried out.Then, the completion of the girder box or gelagar installation to the construction of a subgrade. Overhead Category System (OCS) or top flow electrical equipment has also begun to be installed.KAI is also completing the Jabodebek LRT which will later be connected to the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train in the Halim Perdanakusuma area, which will then be integrated with various other modes of transportation such as Commuter Line and buses.In addition, KAI is also preparing a Feeder train and its waiting room which will stop at Padalarang, Cimahi, and Bandung Stations.This service is provided to make it easier for high-speed train customers who wish to continue their journey to the Cimahi area and the center of Bandung City.“ The construction of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train is carried out in order to present modern transportation in Indonesia.
