The Indonesian Football Transformation Task Force Team Is Formed! It Contains PSSI, FIFA, AFC And The Government Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - The task force (task force) for the transformation of Indonesian football has been officially formed. This team will be filled by the Government, FIFA, AFC, Polri, Kemenpora, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of PUPR, and the Ministry of Health.

The team formation was held in a meeting between the parties above which took place at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday, October 13.

"Today we held a meeting between the government, FIFA, AFC, and PSSI. The results of today's meeting we agreed to form a football transformation task force, which of course contains the government, FIFA, AFC, Polri, Kemenpora, Ministry of Home Affairs, PUPR, and the Ministry of Health," said PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan.

Later, the parties involved in this team will carry out their duties according to their respective capacities. The police, for example, will synchronize the FIFA rules and standard operating procedures (SOP) of the Police.

Meanwhile, the task of the Ministry of Youth and Sports is definitely related to the scope of sports as a whole.

Then the task that must be carried out by the Ministry of PUPR is to audit the stadium in accordance with the president's directives.

"The minister is currently in the field to confirm the President's directives for all stadiums. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs is carrying out its duties related to the ownership of the stadium, which on average belongs to the local government," said the figure who is familiarly called Iwan Bule.

In addition, Irawan also explained the follow-up timeline of this meeting. One of them was a meeting on October 17 between FIFA, PSSI, and AFC which will take place in Kuala Lumpur.

The meeting will take place on the 18th in Jakarta. This coincides with the plan of the FIFA president to hold a meeting with President Joko Widodo Jokowi. This agenda will bring the results of activities from Kuala Lumpur the day before.

As is known, currently, the Indonesian League 1 competition is still temporarily suspended following the Kanguruhan Tragedy which killed 132 lives.
