The Surabaya City Government asked for support from various parties to realize the former Dolly localization for the better than before.
One form of support for Dolly's development is from the British Government. This was conveyed by the Deputy British Ambassador Matthew Downing while visiting the former Dolly area for the opening of the Dolly Economic District on Tuesday, October 11.
Cak Ji Armuji said the visit of the Deputy Ambassador of England to Dolly was also to commemorate the International Day of The Girl Child which was held around the Dolly Surabaya area.
In addition, the visit was also to strengthen collaboration between Surabaya and Future Cities in order to create a child-friendly city as well as the launch of Dolly Economic as a result of the Future Cities program.
Cak Ji expressed his gratitude for the attention of the British Embassy in Indonesia for the progress of development in the city of Surabaya.
