'Deng Manaba', Degree Makassar For Ganjar Pranowo
JAKARTA - Central Java (Central Java) Governor Ganjar Pranowo visited Makassar City, South Sulawesi (South Sulawesi). Ganjar was named the noble title of the Makassar tribe, "Deng Manaba".
Manaba is taken from the word Taba which means it is right on target, right, always wins.
Ganjar was invited by the Mayor of Makassar Danny Pomanto to come here to see the tourist aisle in Tello Baru Village, Panakukang District, Makassar City. Together with Danny Pomanto, Ganjar was immediately greeted with enthusiasm by hundreds of people who were there when the welcoming ceremony was over.
In essence, a noble title is not obtained just like that. The title of the noble name of the Makassar tribe was given by the tenth king of South Sulawesi in 2016.
The awarding of the royal title was marked by the handover of a keris from the former Governor of South Sulawesi, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) during the national seminar of the Gajah Mada University Alumni Family (Kagama) at the Ronggowarsito Museum.
The noble name Deng Manaba was again pinned by Ganjar when he visited Lorong Wisata Sydney (Cipta Karya), at BTN Citra Tello Permai, Tello Baru Village, Panakkukang District.
"Of course I feel happy because if I want to eat coto now in Semarang, I come alone because of the title of Deng Manaba. I have been given badik. The only language is that I don't understand," said the white-haired man in his statement, Monday, October 10.
Ganjar admitted that he was very happy that the Makassar traditional embedding was pinned to him.
To note, the embedding of Deng Manaba's name was not only given by Ganjar Pranomo. The Makassar noble title was also pinned to the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin.
Ma'ruf Amin received the traditional title "Karaeng Manaba" from the Galesong Kingdom, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi. The title Karaeng Manaba was given directly by the Galesong Malangg Kingdom Abdullah Karaeng Gassing in 2019.
