Erling Haaland Investigating With Man City, Mohammed Salah Asked Not Baper
JAKARTA - Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp asked his player, Mohamed Salah, to accept the fact that Erling Haaland is working on. Klopp also said that the situation should spur Salah's enthusiasm for the better.
The start of the 2022/2023 season is a difficult time for Salah to rediscover his impressive performance. The Egyptian still hasn't appeared to bite until the 10th Premier League week.
This situation is ironic because last season Salah was named the top scorer with Son Heung-min. His collection of 30 goals also made Salah secure the Golden Boots last season.
But now, he has lost to Erling Haaland. The new Manchester City player has scored 14 goals as long as the Premier League competition goes on.
Haaland's notes got Jurgen Klopp's attention, who was starting to worry about Salah's record being chased.
"I hope Mo Salah goes crazy soon, but no one in the world can overcome the current situation of Haaland," Klopp was quoted as saying by the Mirror.
"What he (Haaland) did was crazy. When he scored his second goal in the Champions League (against Copenhagen) he shook his head. It was as if saying 'I can do whatever I want and the ball bounce straight into my feet'. Klopp.
The German manager admits Haaland is an amazing player, who luckily is in an amazing team too.
