JAKARTA - Dozens of people from various groups representing supporters of Indonesian football clubs stormed the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Politics, Law and Security (Kemenko Polhukam) in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon, October 6.

Dozens of supporters came to meet the Kanjuruhan Independent Fact Finding Joint Team (TGIPF), to provide input to the team.

Representatives of supporters met by members of the TGIPF, Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto and Akmal Marhali, as well as Deputy for Coordination of Law and Human Rights Sugeng Purnomo, as Team Leader of the TGIPF Secretariat.

Several supporters' representatives appreciate the president's attention in forming a team to resolve this case. They left a message that TGIPF should work optimally so that this case is clearly disclosed.

The supporters who came to TGIPF came from Bonek, Banaspati Jabodetabek, Balad Galuh Ciamis, K-Conk Mania, Persikabo, FDSI, Bombastic Batavia, SNEX Banten, Persija, and Save Indonesia Football.

"We hope that it will be big, because fans have often died in vain. We ask the team to work with full heart and seriously," said Mimit, a representative of supporters K-Conk Mania Madura.

Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto said the same thing. According to him, all inputs will be notes for discussion in the team.

"I emphasize that my concern for being involved in this team is that regulations are enforced and implemented," he said.

Meanwhile, TGIPF member Akmal Marhali said his party had been appointed by the president to find out the facts of Kanjuruhan.

"We will not be like the previous fact-findings, because we were appointed by the president. We all bring the country, thus ignoring the country's mandate if we don't work seriously," he said.

Akmal promised that TGIPF would solve the problem not only surfaced but to its roots.
