Russian President Vladimir Putin Officially Pencapakan Empat Wilayah Ukraine

JAKARTA - Russian President Vladimir Putin signed four laws ratifying agreements on access to the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions into Russia.

The agreement was signed in Moscow on September 30. They set the establishment of new territorial borders. The borders of republics and territories will be determined by territorial borders, which " were on the day of their establishment and access to Russia," the document read, according to TASS Oct. 5.

Until the new regional heads are elected according to Russian law, they will be ruled by the acting head, who will be appointed by President Putin. Meanwhile, regional head elections will be held on Simultaneous Voting Day in September 2023.

The new region will be integrated during the transition period until 2026. Before 2023, Ukraine's hryvnia will be allowed for cash and non-cash payments, after which the Russian ruble will be the only currency there.

Next, the armed forces of the new region in Donetsk and Lugansk are expected to be part of the Russian Armed Forces. Meanwhile, legislative norms that are contrary to the Russian Constitution, including the death penalty, will not be implemented.

It is known, Kyiv and the West say Russia's annexation efforts are illegal land grabbing and will never be recognized.

Meanwhile, Ukraine says its troops will retake every territory occupied by Russian forces.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said late Tuesday his military had made great and rapid progress against Russian troops in the past week, reclaiming dozens of cities in the southern and eastern regions that had been declared by Russia.

"This week alone, since Russia's pseudo referendum, dozens of regions have been released. All of them are in the areas of Kherson, Kharkiv, Lugansk and Donetsk," President Zelensky said.

Furthermore, President Zelensky said eight small cities in Kherson in the south had recently been recaptured.

Russia does not fully control any of the four areas it claims, with the Kremlin saying it has yet to determine the end border of the annexed region.
