This Morning Transjakarta Bus Stop Feature Because There Are Lots Of Blocked Cards, It Turns Out That This Is The Reason

JAKARTA - This morning, there was a problem at the Transjakarta bus stop. Many Transjakarta cards of users were blocked.

This condition occurs during peak hours, where many people are just starting to carry out activities. Thus, long queues are unavoidable.

Corporate Secretary and Legal Division Head of PT Jak Lingko Indonesia, Kevin admitted that there was a change in the system for Transjakarta bus stop machines.

"This morning, a new business process has been implemented in Transjakarta regarding one passanger-one card and the obligation of Tap in-out on every trip," Kevin told reporters, Tuesday, October 4.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Jaklingko Muhamad Kamaludin explained what caused the problem of queues to sag in many Transjakarta bus stops this morning.

Kamaludin said that the blockage of the card was due to the fact that users had not tapped out after getting out of Transjakarta, before he returned to the Transjakarta bus stop this morning.

"We apologize if there are users who have problems in the morning because yesterday they didn't tap out. Maybe because yesterday's trip didn't tap out. So when this morning I tried to tap in and then the card was blocked," said Kamaludin.

Thus, users must reset their cards, assisted by bus stop officers so that they can be reused.

"Make sure there is a minimum balance of IDR 5 thousand on the card when resetting the card. It is necessary to be disciplined to tap in tap out," said Kamaludin.

Furthermore, Kamaludin explained, the system renewal on the Transjakarta card machine is related to the application of Transjakarta transportation integration rates, Jakarta MRT, and Jakarta LRT at a rate of Rp. 10,000 within 3 hours. Thus, system renewal does need to be done.

"This in-tap out stage in the future can provide benefits for users to be able to enjoy integration rates. Later this card can also be used for integration rates of Rp. 10,000 3 hours," he added.
