Having A Property Business, Hutama Karya Will Get Land Cover From A Former BPPN In Three Regions
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) is proposed to receive non-cash state capital participation (PMN) in the form of state property (BMN). The proposal was submitted by the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati. The non-cash PMN will be used to support the company's business.
Hutama Karya President Director Budi Harto confirmed this. Budi said, BMN in the form of land or assets of the former BPPN will be used in the company's property business development.
"We develop that Hutama Karya also has a business as a property developer, so with the provision of Non-Cash PMN in the form of land, we will develop it according to our business by building a property," he told reporters, when met at the Ministry of SOEs, Thursday, September 29.
Furthermore, Budi said that the business development would later target the upper middle class. He said several opportunities could be taken, such as the construction of hospitals and apartments.
"Maybe (the target is) to be upstream, we are looking for this, we also happen to just restructure it, later when it improves, we will look for opportunities in the future," he explained.
"It could be that we will cooperate with investors whether it's a hospital, then an apartment, then we'll see how it develops," he continued.
