Fabrizio Romano Suggested MU Bring The Gappo Fart In The January 2023 Transfer Window

JAKARTA European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano asked Manchester United to try to bring in PSV Eindhoven striker resulting in Gappo in the January 2023 window.

The 23-year-old Dutchman was previously on the Red Devils radar in the transfer window last summer. He is said to have succeeded in attracting the attention of tactician Erik ten Hag, but ultimately failed to get to Old Trafford.

MU then prefers to bring in Antony from Ajax Amsterdam. However, their chances of approaching the player will return to open in the nearest winter.

"Cody Gappo could be one of [players] that Manchester United must pay attention to," said the Italian transfer expert, as confiscated from CaughtOffside, Wednesday.

According to several reports, MU is still keeping the name Gappo on their shopping list in 2023. The player is rumored to be a priority for their purchase.

However, to get a Gakpo, MU seems to have to compete with Leeds United. Last summer, Leeds was very serious about chasing the player over Manchester United.

"Manchester United knows he can be an option and how he performs in the [2022 Qatar] World Cup could be important for his future," said Romano.

Gappo has featured in 13 games for PSV this season in various competitions. Of that number of appearances, he managed to score 10 goals and contributed nine assists.

Efforts to bring in Gampo need to be carried out by MU in order to anticipate the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo this winter. The Portuguese is expected to go to the exit after failing to move in the summer.
