Sandiaga Uno Said That The SEZ In Lido Has Been Able To Absorb Thousands Of Workers
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno reviewed the development of the Lido Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Cigombong, Bogor Regency.
Sandiaga assessed that the benefits of the Lido SEZ had begun to be felt because they managed to absorb thousands of workers from the target of 1.1 million new jobs.
"We see that the achievements can be felt, the impact of the employment that has been absorbed has reached 2,600 out of a total of Rp. 30 trillion which will be invested in the next few years," said Sandiaga Uno, Monday, September 26.
Sandiaga said that the Lido SEZ is targeted to operate at the end of 2022, such as Movie Land, Art Center and others.
Sandiaga Uno hopes that by the end of 2022 this can actually be inaugurated to start operating.
"As a report to the President as well, it turns out that the SEZ concept is very efficient in attracting investment and is very effective in executing it because of speed and flexibility in attracting investors to enter," said Sandiaga Uno.
This Lido SEZ area, said Sandi, is not only developed in the world of tourism, but will also be developed in the world of IT's creative economy.
Such as Tekno Park or digital economies that can attract universities in the UK.
During the visit to England, said Sandi, his party will take the time to greet the education world ecosystem there to be withdrawn to invest in this tourism and creative economy SEZ.
"Hopefully, our target is that 1.1 million new quality jobs can be realized and this SEZ will become a motor moving rather than creating jobs and our faster recovery," he said.
