Previously, it was reported that a student with the initials AP (22) was suspected of being a victim of abuse by the wife of an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol), EM (26).

EM admitted that the fire was burning with jealousy because her husband was taking a woman. Unable to stand by the incident, she also hit a woman who was escorted by her husband to the boarding house.

The incident occurred in the Bintaro area, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, Saturday afternoon, September 17.

The incident began when he ordered an online motorcycle taxi (ojol) to return to his boarding house. The victim then approached the ojol driver to the pick-up location. It turned out that the ojol driver was making a video call with his wife.

"I ordered ojol from campus to go to a boarding house on Jalan Madrasah. When I got to the driver's place, he was having a video call. The position of his cellphone was placed on his motorbike, I think I entered the video call," said AP.

"After that, the father said he wanted to accompany the passenger first and turn off the video call. Then he gave me a message to get ready to go," he continued.

Shortly after arriving at the boarding house, the victim was suddenly contacted by an unknown number claiming to be the wife of the ojol driver who drove him.

"The person on the phone was in front of the angry boarding house gate and broke in and told me to come down. He said he was his wife, the ojol driver," he said.

Worried about disturbing local residents, the victim finally met the woman. When they met, the victim and the perpetrator were involved in an argument until the perpetrator got emotional and beat the victim.

"She was jealous and it was bad for me to hide her husband on the motorbike. I said don't just pray if there is no evidence, the mother is even more angry. She looked at my clothes until she finally grabbed them too," he said.

Local residents then came and tried to break up the commotion. After that, the ojol driver and his wife were asked to leave the location.

When asked if he wanted to make peace with the perpetrators, continued AP, he admitted that he refused. Because he wants to have a deterrent effect on the perpetrators.

"I'm sorry, please call it yet," he concluded.
