PGN Recorded A Net Profit Of Rp3.45 Trillion In The First Semester Of 2022
JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), which is the Subholding Gas of PT Pertamina (Persero) recorded a net profit of 38.6 million US dollars or Rp3.45 trillion from the same period in the previous year of 196.5 million US dollars.
PGN President Director, M Haryo Yunianto detailed that the increase in net profit came from revenues of US$1,740.2 million, gross profit of US$420.9 million, operating profit of US$339.8 million, and EBITDA of US$660.2 million.
In the first semester of 2022, PGN managed to continue its positive performance. The performance of gas trading volume reached 930 BBTUD including the contribution of the volume of the Usage Agreement Terminal (or an increase of 4.1 percent compared to the same period the previous year). Meanwhile, the transmission volume is 1,358 MMSCFD (or an increase of 0.8 percent compared to the same period the previous year)," he said in an official statement, Thursday, September 22.
In addition, from an upstream perspective, it contributed to an increase in the volume of oil and gas lifting during the first semester of 2022 to 28,792 BOEPD from 21,610 BOEPD and an increase in ICP.
The achievement of oil transportation performance showed a very significant increase of 27,289 BOEPD from the previous 9,321 BOEPD.
Likewise, the performance of LPG processing which reached 140 tons per day compared to the same period in the previous year of 114 tons per day.
In terms of customer growth, there is an increase in the number of customers reaching 759,371 customers consisting of 754,998 households, 2,504 industries and commercial, and 1,869 small customers.
