Anies Langang His Subordinates Take Advantage Of The Market For Self-Enriching: Malulah Kalian
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan emphasized to his subordinates, especially the ranks of BUMD Perumda Pasar Jaya and Food Stations not to take advantage and enrich themselves in managing markets in Jakarta.
Anies reminded directors, managers, supervisors, and market heads to work based on the interests of the people. Moreover, residents are currently facing the high price of basic commodities in line with the increase in fuel prices.
"Don't be a manager, directors, supervisors for the sake of collecting rupiah money for himself, his family, and his group. If that's done, be ashamed of you. You are ashamed," said Anies, the inauguration of the revitalization of four traditional markets at Cipinang Market Kebembeb, East Jakarta, Thursday, September 22.
To the subordinates present at the event, Anies was aware that corrupt practices in the market ecosystem were still being carried out, not only in Jakarta, but also in Indonesia.
However, the former Minister of Education and Culture was reluctant to mention who his staff was who played dirty.
"I ask everyone, do this, reflect on yourself. We actually know each other, really, who is doing what, playing with whom. Know everything. Just don't talk. Right? Practices like this, stop," he said.
For information, today Anies inaugurated the revitalization of four markets, including Cipinang Kebembem Market, West Sawah Market, Poncol High Land Market, and West Tebet Market.
Anies also directly implemented subsidized cheap food distribution at the Cipinang Rice Main Market. This subsidized cheap food program is given to 1.1 million recipients distributed through 312 locations throughout Jakarta.
