Sebanyak 502 Pemda Siap Mengurkan Bansos Kenaikan Harga BBM.40 Selainnya Belum Pelangkan Laporan

JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Fiscal Balance of the Ministry of Finance reports that currently there are 502 local governments (Pemda) that have submitted the latest financial reports.

Director General of Fiscal Balance Astera Primanto Bhakti said there were 40 other local governments who had not submitted financial reports.

According to him, the obligation to subscribe is very necessary so that local governments can immediately receive General Allocation Funds (DAU) from the center to distribute social assistance to the community related to the adjustment of fuel oil prices (BBM) some time ago.

For information, this provision is contained in the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 134 of 2022 concerning Mandatory Expenditures in the Context of Handling the Impact of Inflation for Fiscal Year 2022.

"The actual report fee is until September 15 yesterday," he said in Jakarta on Tuesday, September 20.

Astera revealed, PMK 134/2024 mandates that local governments must set aside 2 percent of DAU for social assistance to communities with categories of fishermen, motorcycle taxis, MSMEs, to transportation subsidies and job creation efforts through labor-intensive programs.

"This is clearly a directive to the regions not to hesitate to carry out PMK 134/2022," he said.

In the editorial notes, in addition to mandatory social protection spending from DTU, the government provides various other assistance to the community which is expected to maintain purchasing power when prices increase.

Meanwhile, the assistance in question is in the form of BBM Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) of Rp. 150,000 for 20.6 million beneficiary families for 4 months, namely September to December, which is given twice Rp. 300,000 each. This assistance will be distributed by the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Then, the Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) was also given to 16 million workers who had a maximum salary of IDR 3.5 million per month of IDR 600,000. This assistance will be distributed by the Ministry of Manpower.
