His Personnel Died During CGBT Training, Bakamla Expressed The Cause
JAKARTA - Head of the Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) Admiral TNI Aan Kurnia revealed the cause of the death of one of the Bakamla personnel, Muhammad Ary Adithya Hasibuan, while studying the Coast Guard Basic Training or CGBT due to acute failure.
"The diagnosis of the Navy Central Hospital (RSPAL) doctor, Ary died of acute liver failure or acute heart failure," Aan said in a press release, Tuesday, September 20.
He conveyed his condolences from the entire Bakamla family for the death of Ary, Muhammad Ary Adithya Hasibuan's nickname.
"I, as the Head of Bakamla RI, represent the entire extended family of Bakamla RI, express my deepest condolences for Ary's death," he said, quoted by Antara.
Aan explained, CGBT is a basic education that must be passed by all Bakamla personnel who have just joined and are declared to have passed the previous admission test series.
Even so, he stressed that CGBT is not military training but training that has the nuances of defending the country and is adjusted to the portion of the main tasks and functions (tupoksi) Bakamla.
As for Ary, he joined and took CGBT in Sidoarjo, Surabaya, along with his colleagues.
Before leaving for training, according to him, Ary had gone through a series of mandatory health tests before Bakamla personnel participated in CGBT.
"The test results state that Ary has a history of illness and requires special attention. However, Ary continues to study CGBT with a lighter training intensity than his colleagues," said Aan.
Ary's health condition started to get in trouble when he ran in the afternoon with his compatriot so he was immediately taken to the hospital.
Arriving at the hospital, he immediately received medical treatment. However, after being treated, Ary's condition decreased and died at night with a diagnosis of acute liver failure.
