Sandiaga Uno Invites Students To Be Melenggal Teknologi And Become Creative Economy Actors
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno invites new students to become the main actors in the creative economy industry.
Sandiaga said that when he attended the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta (PKKMB UMJ) at the UMJ Football Stadium, Cirendeu, South Tangerang.
Sandiaga said, the younger generation is now able to answer the challenges in the world of the creative economy industry.
"The vision of Indonesia entering its golden age in 2045. Which, has pillars of human resource development (HR) with IPTEK (Science of Science and Technology) and IMTAK (Iman and Takwa), to achieve that, of course, there must be the role of our students or the younger generation," said Sandiaga in his statement, Saturday, September 17.
For Sandiaga, UMJ has a very strategic role in presenting potential players of the main economy or creative industry. Plus, it can display Islam as a religion that brings mercy, as well as the progress of the times, people and the nation.
"Students are currently encouraged to progress, be technology literate, and understand in influencing lifestyle and lifestyle as the next generation. And can display Islam as a religion that brings mercy, as well as the progress of the times, people and the nation," said Sandiaga.
Meanwhile, to realize students as human resources who are ready to face the current era, of course, a number of supporting activities are needed. Deputy Chancellor II of UMJ, Nina Mutmainah said, the introduction of SMEs is very important during the PKKMB period. Although, there are several differences in units displayed on the UMJ.
"SMEs are certainly very important, but for the UMJ itself there are differences such as the Muhammadiyah Ortom which is the hallmark of the Muhammadiyah College, namely the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM), the Holy Tapak, Hezbul Wathan, and Nasyatul Aisyiyah," he said.
