PLN Mukomuko Sorry Regarding Outages More Than 24 Hours

JAKARTA - The management of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) Rayon, Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province apologized to the public for the lack of service so that there was a power outage in Ujung Padang Village from Friday morning to Saturday or more than 24 hours. "We apologize for our lack of service," said PT PLN Manager Rayon Mukomuko Ferri Adrianta, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

He said this was in response to complaints from residents of Ujung Padang Village, Mukomuko Regency regarding the power outage which lasted quite a long time from Friday, September 9 morning until Saturday the next Saturday or more than 24 hours, without any notification from PT PLN. He explained that the cause of the power outage in the Mukomuko City District on Friday because there was indeed a schedule for network construction and tree cutting work. After the work was completed on Friday afternoon, normal time turned out to be a failure and PLN personnel traced by opening one-by-one travo in Mukomuko City. It turned out that one of the travos in Ujung Padang Village was disrupted and only Saturday morning could be inspected and repaired. "Alhamdulillah, now the electricity supply in Mukomuko City District is all alive," he said. A resident of Ujung Padang Warni Village said the power outage which lasted more than 24 hours prevented him from being active during the blackout. He did not know the cause of the outage in his area, because there was no prior notification from the local PT PLN.

He stated that the power outages for 24 consecutive hours in his area made him unable to carry out activities and spend money on buying water and charging cellphone batteries. Meanwhile, a resident of Bandar Ratu Village, Mukomuko City District Dani said the power outage in his area occurred from Friday morning to evening. "If the electricity outage in our area is only until Friday afternoon, after that the electricity will turn on again," he also said.
