Luis Milla Promised Persib Bandung To Play Aggressively In The Arema FC Kandang
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung coach Luis Milla promised an aggressive game when traveling to Arema FC headquarters, Sunday, September 11. Despite being a guest team, Milla does not want her team to play defensively.
Milla claims Persib must change the style and character of the team to be able to achieve better results.
"We have to change our attitude, change our character, to be more aggressive and more focused," Milla said as quoted by Antara, Saturday, September 10.
Milla explained that his team had approximately one week to prepare for the Singo Edan squad. He believes his team will perform well because they have good and quality players.
According to him, there are still a number of improvements in preparing the Maung Bandung team before being hosted by Arema FC. However, he considered the team to be better.
"However, we need improvements to prepare this team to make it even better. Arema FC is certainly in a rather difficult condition after yesterday's match," he said.
He added that the new coach in the Arema FC squad did not become a distinct advantage for the Blue Prince. However, he admits that applying the idea of a coach to a team does take a long time.
"But once again, it's not easy for a coach to apply ideas, philosophy and methodology in a fast time. It takes time just like us. So we see this as not like an advantage, because actually we are the same," he said.
Currently, Persib Bandung is in 12th place in the standings with ten points. While Arema FC is 9th place with 11 points.
