Napoli Diuji's Consistency Is Being Challenged To Appear Like Liverpool's Opponents When Facing Spezia

JAKARTA - Napoli will face Spezia in the Italian Serie A continuation this weekend. I Partenopei came with an extraordinary victory over Liverpool in the Champions League scene on Wednesday.

Napoli were also required to appear as before Liverpool. Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti asked his team to perform with perfect performance

Spalletti emphasized that Napoli must be able to maintain consistency. The match against Spezia at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Saturday night, could be the first test.

"We have to focus on every game, whoever the opponent is," he said in a pre-match comment as reported by Antara from the official Napoli website, Saturday, September 10.

"We performed a great performance on the big stage against Liverpool, but if we want to be successful we have to show the same thing at all times, starting with Spezia."

However, Spalletti remains vigilant. The 53-year-old man still remembers the defeat he lost against Spezia at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium last year.

For Spalletti the most important thing is that Napoli players don't give opponents a free chance.

"Spezia often put a lot of players up for the ball and they were very good at launching counter-attacks," he said.

"Despite the way the opponent played, we have to remember what happened last season and be careful not to give free chances. We have to be as perfect as against Liverpool," he continued.

The former coach who brought AS Roma to two Italian Coppa champions emphasized that Napoli should not be affected by who will be faced and remains concentrating on issuing the best abilities.

"Every game can always earn three points and as an ambitious team we have to win every game, not just at important moments," Spalletti said.

He added, "We have to enter the field with a winning mindset, focus on our own abilities rather than who the opponents are against."

Napoli currently occupy second place in the Italian League standings with a collection of 11 points and are still unbeaten of six matches already played.
