After The Demo, Police And Students Together Clean Up The Burnt Waste On The Street

TANGERANG After securing a demonstration to increase fuel oil (BBM), police officers and students cleaned up the remaining garbage in front of the UIN campus, Thursday night, September 8.

The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Kombes Pol. Shinto Silitonga, said that the mass of the action was seen as anarchic during demonstrations by burning tires and blocking roads, disrupting the interests of road users.

"Convey aspirations in accordance with applicable regulations, not by burning tires and blocking roads because there are rights and interests of road users," Shinto said in a written statement.

At around 19:00 WIB, the personnel extinguished the tires that were set on fire by students in the middle of the road and blocked the road so that motorists could not cross the road.

As is known, since the government raised the price of fuel, various elements of refusal emerged. In addition to workers who carried out demonstrations, students also took the same action in various regions.

The demonstration was a form of protest, not agreeing that the price of fuel was increased because it was considered difficult for the community.
