ATSI Investigation Results: Not Finding Illegal Access In Each Cellular Operator
JAKARTA - The All-Indonesian Telecommunications Organizers Association (ATSI) has given its attitude towards cases of alleged data leaks that have occurred in recent days.
ATSI said that they are ready to cooperate and fully support the government's efforts (Kominfo, BSSN and Dukcapil) and other authorities in conducting investigations related to the alleged leak of registration data for telecommunication service customers.
According to the results of the investigations that have been carried out, the Secretariat General of ATSI, Marwan O Baasir stated that they did not find illegal access in each operator network.
"All telecommunications organizers have implemented the Information security system referring to the ISO 27001 standard as required in the Minister of Communications and Informatics Regulation No. 05 / 2021 concerning the Implementation of Telecommunications Article 168 paragraph 5, as a form of the operator's responsibility as data controller," he said in a statement received in Jakarta, Thursday, September 8.
According to him, all telecommunication operators always comply with applicable laws and regulations, which are related to data security and confidentiality.
