JAKARTA - The price of fuel has increased, and the price of necessities at Ciplak Market, East Jakarta, is starting to increase. A striking increase occurred in chili and meat. This was complained about by traders because they experienced a lack of buyers. The price of curly red chili, which was originally IDR 35 thousand to IDR 40 thousand per kilogram, rose to IDR 85 thousand to IDR 90 thousand per kilogram. The soaring price of chili and other necessities was previously estimated considering that most of the supply of vegetables came from outside Jakarta. In addition, the price of beef also crept up to the distributor level. Currently, the price per kilogram of meat reached IDR 140 thousand after previously IDR 130 thousand to IDR 135 thousand per kilogram. Watch the video below.
