VIDEO: Demo BBM, Bakar Ban Student In Kolong Flyover Pasar Rebo

JAKARTA - The demonstration against the increase in fuel prices by a number of students under the Pasar Rebo Flyover, East Jakarta, ended in chaos, Monday (5/9). The action took place at 14.19 WIB. Students stated that they refused to increase the price of Pertalite, Solar, and Pertamax fuel because it was considered burdensome for people's purchasing power. In their action, they also had time to burn a number of used tires right in the middle of the Pasar Rebo Flyover. There was tension between a number of mobs and the Police. Not only calling for the rejection of fuel prices through loudspeakers, students also burned a number of used tires. Joint personnel of the TNI and Polri were deployed to the location.
