If You Want PKS, Acting Governor Of DKI Can Continue The Anies Program: It's Good

JAKARTA - The PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD wants the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta who will later take the lead from 2022 to 2024 to be able to continue Anies Baswedan's programs.

Advisor to the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Nasrullah, views that the work program as long as Anies leads Jakarta has gone well. If Anies' program is not continued, then it is very unfortunate.

"PKS itself wants those who can continue Pak Anies' leadership. Unfortunately, for example (Pj leadership) has been running, eh, suddenly it is different or unable to continue Pak Anies' leadership, it's good," said Nasrullah when contacted, Tuesday, September 6.

Regarding the election of the names of the candidates for the Acting Governor of DKI, the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) also asked the DKI Jakarta DPRD to propose three names other than the three names prepared by the central government.

Nasrullah said that currently the DPRD has not yet decided what mechanism will be carried out in choosing the name of the candidate for the acting candidate.

The option is for each faction of the DKI DPRD to propose names, these names were discussed in a joint leadership meeting (rapimgab) of the DKI DPRD, before finally depositing three names to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"Each faction can propose, maybe the people are different. Because there are eight factions, then there are eight names. Then, the name is discussed in rapid and three (names) are taken. From the DPRD proposes to the Ministry of Home Affairs. After that, the President chooses," explained Nasrullah.

Previously, the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian said that his party had sent a letter to the DKI Jakarta DPRD to prepare the proposal for the replacement names of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.

Later, there will be about six names to replace Anies who will be submitted to President Joko Widodo. In detail, there are three names proposed by the DKI DPRD and three names from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"We have sent a letter to the DKI DPRD, yesterday I signed it. Later from the Ministry of Home Affairs there may be three names, three DPRD names," Tito said in a meeting with Commission II of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 31.

After six names were submitted by the DPRD and the Ministry of Trade each to Jokowi. The head of state will hold a meeting to determine the acting governor who will replace Anies.

"What will certainly develop whatever the decision is," said Tito.
